Food flavours are used to alter the taste by creating new flavour for food products. Aroma, fragrance, essensial oil are classify in this group.
Seasoning
Seasonings are used to enhance the flavour of the food without providing separate flavour. It can be by adding salt, herbs or spices in small portion.
Colouring
Colouring agents are used to enhance natural colours, provide colour to colourless foods, and compensate for natural colour variations and help identify flavours (such as yellow for lemon).
Texturizer
Texturizing agents are used to improve the food texture physically by providing it with stability, creaminess, clarity, thi ckness, vi sc osi ty, and other characteristics.
